PROPULSID® (cisapride) limited access program
The prescription medication PROPULSID® is no longer marketed in the
United States, and therefore it is no longer available through retail
pharmacies. The only way doctors can obtain cisapride is through a
limited-access program developed together by Janssen Pharmaceutica and
the US Food and Drug Administration. This program was created to
ensure that only appropriate patients receive the medication.
