No. Unfortunately, the system will not save your request and will timeout after 60 minutes. Please have all required documents completed and available before you begin the application process.

All requests must be received at least 10 weeks prior to the date of the program.

A letter of request on the accrediting organization’s letterhead, an agenda/learning objectives, OMJSA’s budget template, the Eligibility Questionnaire (for CE/CME grants), and first time applicants must also submit a signed IRS W9 form. Yes. Incomplete submissions will be denied.

One application can be submitted for a related series of programs, such as a grand round series. The title, objectives, and budget for each program must be included, along with all of the required documents.

Once your request has been successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with the Grant Identification Number assigned to your request.
Please print a copy of the confirmation email for your records and future reference.

Educational grants may be awarded to profit, non-profit, and 501C3 tax-exempt organizations.

The company may provide support to teaching institutions for their medical education programs by sponsoring fellowships. The terms of the fellowship must be clearly documented in a written agreement. Requests must include the selection criteria and state that there is a bona fide selection committee in place to select the final recipient. Grants must be provided to the teaching institutions and not to individual fellows.

The company may provide support to travel to a conference that was carefully selected by the teaching institution, including major educational, scientific, or policy making meetings of national, regional, or specialty medical associations. The general subject of the educational activity must generally fall within a therapeutic area of interest to the Operating Divisions supported by OMJSA. Grants must be provided to the teaching institutions and not to individual fellows.

If the activity will be certified for CE/CME credits, the organization providing certification must complete, sign and include the Eligibility Questionnaire with the submission. The Eligibility Questionnaire must be uploaded in the application form as an attachment within the CE Provider Questionnaire field.
If an educational partner is included in the application, that organization must also complete, sign and include an Eligibility Questionnaire. This form must be uploaded in the application form as an attachment within the Educational Partner Questionnaire field.

No. A new grant request for the revised program must be submitted. Otherwise, the funding must be returned to OMJSA.

No. However, a written notification must be sent to the Grant Analyst with the Grant Identification Number prior to that change. The rescheduled program date must be within 12 months of the signed agreement.

Yes, to the extent that any of the funds are not used for the activity as defined in the written agreement, the provider must return any unused or excess funds to OMJSA within 6 months following the completion of the activity.

We require that the overall expenses of the program (Total Program Costs columns), as well as the requested funds (Requested Funding from OMJSA columns) is captured in the budget template that is provided on our website.

Your rejected letter will indicate whether or not the request is eligible for resubmission. Generally, requests are rejected either because they do not fit the criteria of an educational grant, the topics are not within our clinical areas of interest, funds are not available, insufficient documentation provided, or the request was received less than the 10 weeks prior to the date of the program.
